Reading Time: < 1 minuteUPDATE: Now we do support Chrome! We use accessibility, the same technology that helps special apps read the screen to people with vision impairments.Ever Accountable does not currently support the Chrome browser. If someone does use Chrome, their weekly report will flag the browser as not being supported. We get a lot of questions on this topic, and I wanted to let you know where we stand. We really want to support Chrome! The big problem is the Incognito tabs. We can't detect what is viewed in incognito tabs, nor can we detect when they are used. We know of no way around this problem at the current time.We could claim to support chrome, and it would be partially true, but that would leave a gaping hole in our accountability service. We believe that solid accountability without loopholes is the most important thing we can offer! The good news is that the ability to build plugins is the most requested feature for Chrome, and plugin support will probably allow us to detect incognito tabs and fully support Chrome. You can bet that we will support Chrome as soon as we possibly can! In the meantime, we highly recommend the Dolphin Browser. We worked very hard to deliver support for Dolphin, and it is right up there with Chrome in our eyes. We will also work to bring support for other browsers where possible.
